Right Click Menu

Hi all. New to Zorin OS from Linux Mint. I've installed Zorin 18 but it appears to have no right click menu. In setting under mouse & touchpad when I test the button clicks Primary Click highlights for both buttons. Is there a setting I can change?

Welcome to the Forum!

So, You click on the right Mouse Button and You don't get the Menu? Nowhere?

Click there for the Primary Button on Left.

Sounds like missing kernel package that need to be installed. Are you using Xorg or Wayland when logged in?

Thank you. Primary button is set to left.

Thank you. Not sure what they are. I downloaded the os from the Zorin website & followed the instructions to install using a usb stick. It all seemed to go OK but for the right touchpad button.

Okay. I'll guide you.

Log out.
Click your username.
A cog should appear.
Here you can log in as wayland or normal (xorg).
Xorg and wayland is display protocols used by Linux. Wayland is relatively new. Try log into xorg.

Tried Xorg but still the same.

Okay. Now you're in xorg. RUn this command and then reboot;
sudo apt install xserver-xorg-input-synaptics

Then test if it works in xorg.
