Screen blanking

I have a home built pc that was running Ubuntu 24.05. I recently changed over to Zorin 18. I have a problem that shows up on both systems. The screen never blanks. When I reboot, it will work fine for a few days. I'm thinking Wayland problem, but I don't know how to troubleshoot it. (I prefer Wayland to use an Android game that I love)

You could start with testing if it really is a Wayland Issue with switching to Xorg and check if this Behavior is still happen or not.

To switch, go to the Login Screen. Click there on Your Profile so that the Password Field appears. When it is appeared, You should see a Gear Icon in the bottom right Corner. Click on it and choose the Option ''Zorin Desktop on Xorg'' and then log in.

You could aslo check the Settings in Settings>Energy/Power and Setttings>Privacy>Lock Screen and look how these are set up.

I switched to Xorg and blanking works. I then switched back to Wayland and it still works. So now I know that logging out cures it. I will leave it in Xorg for a few days to see if blanking fails again, then I will report back.

Must be Wayland, it worked okay for 3 days under xorg, but fails shortly after logging into Wayland. Still searching for troubleshooting method.

Then, I would suggest to stay on Xorg. Could You post Your Hardware Specs?

There is an Android Sudoku game which I run on Waydroid, thus I am unwilling to stay on Xorg. I'm willing to post hardware specs but not sure how to do it.

When You know Your Hardware Specs (CPU, GPU, RAM etc.), You can simply write them down here.

Do You have Fractional Scaling in Settings>Displays active?

I do now, I'll let you know if that was it, Thanks

Nope, that didn’t fix it, still won't blank unless I log out, then it works for a day or two.
