I have changed to settings to "Dim screen" to off. Full plugged in power mode full performance mode.
This is Zorin 18.1 on HP Pavillion Laptop.
I tried the
*gsettings set org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.power idle-dim-time 60*
I got "No such key “idle-dim-time”
in the terminal.
That Gsetting command may be outdated, now. You might try:
gsettings set org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.power idle-dim false

There is no option in ubuntu 24.04 (Zorin 18 is based on) to set a custom idle dim time with gsettings (or dconf editor):

Welcome to the Forum!
Do You have maybe Dim Settings in the BIOS of Your Laptop? You should check that.
