Scrolling not working on apple magic mouse 2 on zorin 18 wayland

Hi there,

Brand new to Zorin OS but Linux user for a very long time. Just set up an old 2017 iMac 18,1 with Zorin OS 18. The magic keyboard and magic mouse 2 paired with bluetooth no problem. The mouse works. I can left click and right click, but I can't scroll.

Does anyone have scrolling working on the version 2 magic mouse (the rechargeable one) on Wayland?

Did you test it with XOrg? Logout and at login click on your username then a cog wheal appears at the bottom right corner. There select "Zorin Desktop on Xorg".

As far as I read the driver support for this mouse was added to the kernel. But maybe it helps to download and install the .deb file

Yes, I tried it with XOrg. Still no go. I can see that hid_magicmouse is not loaded automatically, but even after loading it manually, I don't have scrolling.

How do I configure this driver in Wayland to enable scrolling?
