Subject header says it all. Here's a picture of my desktop. What about you?
Your topbar looks like AWN or Cairo... Or Windows Rainmeter.
Hi Aravisian, yes it is Cairo dock. I finally got it to work right. Before it was not recognizing my folders but it does now. I had to install the cairo-dock-gnome-integration package to make everything work as it should. Thanks for commenting on my post.
Looking For What's Out There
ZorinOS 17 Pro
Magnetic Dracula GTK
Alien Purple Icons
Worm's eye view of trees during night time photo Wallpaper
Light Flair Conky
That's nice. How well are Budgie working in Zorin?
Thank you! I just got it setup , but all seems well so-far.
Do I understand that right? You installed the Budgie Desktop and not a Design that looks like Budgie.
Budgie has great customization and applets. There many different layouts possible. Dock style panels and panels on any side are all possible. Plank dock is another option.
It ist interesting. It looks like Gnome. Or did You use some Extensions for that Look? Or is this the Standard Budgie Look? I never used Budgie. The Budgie Desktop Settings Window looks like Gnome Tweaks, haha!
Budgie is based on the Gnome Desktop Environment.
Maybe the Question is stupid, but when Budgie is based on Gnome ... Do Gnome Extensions are working with Budgie?
And another Thing: Runs Budgie with Wayland or only X11?
Budgie is currently based on the gnome stack with a re-write coming in the future. Budgie does not support gnome extensions. Menu placement depends on what distribution is installed. Typically the menu is on the bottom left , but can be placed on any panel on any side of the screen.
Budgie 10.6 + run on X11, but version 11 will be using Wayland. I tested Budgie using Magpie.
Thank you for the Info's.
