NZXT getting sucked into a black hole, a fitting end to a company that was totally mismanaged.
Goooood morning, Silicon Valley! I was looking at these new NZXT cases—beautiful, aren't they? Sleek, white, minimal. But the name, folks, the name! NZXT. It sounds like a government program for people who can't stop buying RGB fans.
I asked the technician, 'Is this built for the future?' And he says, 'No, it’s designed for Windows XT!' Windows XT! It’s the operating system for people who thought XP was just too fast. It comes with a 15-minute boot-up time and a desktop wallpaper of a rotary phone.
It doesn't have a 'Start' menu; it has a 'Think About It' menu. You click 'Print' and a guy named Murray comes over and hand-draws your spreadsheet! Nano-technology? In this economy? It’s more like 'No-No' technology!
NZXT had a warped philosophy, and managed to warp its way to oblivion.

After finally figuring out how to launch other desktop environments in the live session (you need a second user account with password login), I tested LXQt and Cosmic in Zorin 18 live session today.
I really like the theme of cosmic with the colored window frames and notice that inactive windows are not dimmed in Cosmic with the default theme - a feature that some users have recently requested for Gnome. It would be highly desirable for Zorin 18 core to also include a GTK theme that does not dim inactive windows.
I followed this guide to install cosmic:
What is noticeable is that programs such as gparted and synaptic, which require root access, don't start in cosmic - policies seem to be missing.

Reads a bit risky. I wouldn't recommend to try/use it for a Daily Driver System. Testing in a VM or like You in a Live Session is fine; there it isn't so bad when it should break.

Yes, I like playing with such risky things in live session, but wouldn't do it on my bare metal install or my virtual machine because it can break something.
If someone knows how to install the cosmic gtk theme in gnome, please tell me!

Don't worry about quality - I have the same issue on Vimeo - then the magic happens! You just need to click on the cog bottom right and change to 1080 HD!
Excellent video, just a side comment about SDDM - from a Plasma User perspective I cannot stand it as it puts a screen keyboard on at login screen - obviously won't appear if autologin applied, but heyho - cool music to!
