Shutdown related problem

Seems to be related to

Zorin 16 not shutting down in ASUS vivobook Hardware Support

i got the pc today... how to get a newer kernel ?

and

Laptop not shutting down. Help? General Help

Could you please test opening a terminal and running sudo systemctl stop systemd-udevd Immediately before shutting down the notebook and see if it powers off?
