Hello, I just installed Zorin 18.1 core alongside my current windows setup.
One thing I need to make sure of before switching completely is that I can digitally sign my Word documents as I do in Windows. I have a signature line already set up. When I right click, there is an option to sign the signature line. After selecting that, a dialog pops up where you must select a certificate to sign under. I've tried importing the same certificate I used on Windows into the Zorin environment using Thunderbird and/or Firefox according to the LibreOffice help site, but the certificate still doesn't show up in the dialog. Is the certificate I used on Windows incompatible in this environment?
What extension does the extension have?
On Linux some extension types only can be imported by firefox (such as .p12) and some of them only by chromium based browsers.
Later you can use Okular by KDE to digitally sign documents.
Okular have some advantages over GNOME's Evince Document Viewer (such as electronic signatures, tabbed view, annotations, form filling, manual / drawn signatures..)
Now the bit about Okular having that capability I was not aware of. I used Okular extensively while working from home during lockdown until retirement, both in GNU/Linux and a 32- bit version I found for 32-bit Windows 8.1 Pro running as a VM in Devuan. Why did I bother with Windows? Because sadly Brailleblaster for GNU/Linux did not work in Devuan, they geared it to Ubuntu. I complained but did not get anywhere. I would have to extract text from Maths pdf's in order to create Braille files. Okular is also capable of running Presentations too. I was impressed with a PowerPoint presentation from the School's music department that ran smoothly in Okular and also played the media links flawlessly. It can be used for Presentations with slide changes with a mouse click or a timer. Even pdfs can be run as a presentation in Okular.
