Cannot get past the wifi authentication on install.. just freezes. and gives me the spinning wheel. Is this going to be a massive waste of time?
Many notebooks have a physical toggle switch for Wifi on/off. Can you please check if that is toggled?
I've had issues before with being on the edge of the WiFi signal. Stupid question, but, have you moved to a different room whilst trying to install?
