Why does software up load the catalog each time I open it .... seems like it should upload once a day maybe .... but every time I open it ????

it is sudo apt updateing...

Interesting I don't remember it doing that when ever I was checking the software programs before .... oh well live and learn ... so it is normal ???
Sometimes it does that... other times it doesn't...
It's one of many things about Software that result in me never using it.
