The software center unexpectedly closed if its suppose to open and you click any app then it will close at the spot
It sounds like Software and fwupd are not syncing.
Just to try the simplest solution:
killall gnome-software
rm -rf ~/.cache/gnome-software
sudo apt install --reinstall fwupd gnome-software

Thanks but Can you explain more about what's fwupd ?
The package fwupd is the FirmWare Update Daemon.
It checks is the firmware is up to date.
