Software Updater - "not all updates can be installed"

Hello everyone,

For just over a week now my software updater has been constantly trying to push updates through but always failing and giving this message of "not all updates can be installed".

Photos below

Anyone else having this, and any tips on how to resolve it?

Thanks in advance

The servers has been under attack for a week, that may indicate why you couldn't get any packages. But let's see. Open the terminal and run
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade

Please post the outcome of it.

@vaelk It's a sustained attack on the Ubuntu Launchpad servers. Don't know when the servers will be back online.

Did You upgrade from Zorin 17 to 18 before this happened?

Good morning all,

Apologies for the delayed response, was not able to come to the PC yesterday. I was not aware of the attack, and it does explain it. Hopefully it will cease soon (if it hasn't yet).

With regards to the recommendations/questions:

  1. I've done as requested @Storm and it did upgrade some components. I have a copy of the terminal output if useful.
  2. I was Zorin 18 from the start I believe @Ponce-De-Leon, only upgrade I did was from base to pro and that was months ago now.

If you have enabled a VPN that can also make that the downloads fail. So you could test to turn the VPN off if you use one.

Would be nice when You could post the Output or post Screenshots of it.

I have also performed a Partial Upgrade and a sudo apt autoremove since and it seems to have fixed it for me. I haven't had it re-occur since.

I'll keep the thread for now in case you still wanted to see anything in the output string with regards to what was happening but for me the issue has been resolved.
