I wouldn't remove pulseaudio or you will break the system. As root in /etc create a folder calked pulseoff and then move pulse folder in /etc to the new pulseoff folder.
In terms of the two entries choose the on labeled 1, leaving the first one labeled 0.
I will leave pulse then. I have tried 1 snd_hda_intel in the black list file but it doesnt see it. Without the 1 they are both gone?

What is the format in the blacklist file? All on one line or 2 lines ? I have tried both
