There is no "perfect" solution for everyone.
One should find the distro which best suites one's need.
Not many of us has a capability of my Gentoo wiz friend who can pick and chose packages himself and create his own distro 
Bruh I don't like Gentoo because it takes way too long to just install stuff
I think several hours to install Firefox. Not very practical for most of us.
Yes I know, I tried the speed of the application and it's not even that much more responsive. Pick your poison I guess
