So, I decided to give gaming a shot on Zorin and honestly, I'm impressed. I've been a Splinter Cell fan ever since the original and decided to try the latest game which was released in 2013 (I'm sad about this! Come on Ubisoft!! lol)
The game actually opened and didn't have any issues except for frame rate...but look at my specs! I'm surprised it ran at all. Maybe I shouldn't be suprised that this laptop is moderately capable of running a game that's 13 years old.
I can't wait to finish my Mac Pro 3,1 conversion and have it running. I will most likely go the AMD everything route. I just wish the components would come down in price a little. Yeesh!
You could try it with switching to Xorg and see if You have better Frame Rates.
