After a long and hard process of switching from KDE back to the normal Zorin desktop, the icons aren't what they are normally. Please help.
Proof:
in zorin appearence change the icon theme.
it fixed itself for some reason???? 
The icons were probably the Breeze icon set used by KDE. When you removed KDE, it may have removed the files, but it would have taken a reboot to revert the icons to the previous default.
