Hi everyone. I reinstalled Zorin Core after trying some other distros. So I decided to donate 10 euro supporting Zorin team because it is the only OS I continue returning on. Surely when 18 Pro will be released I will buy it.
I agree. Even though I've had my fair share of feedback for (and criticisms of) Zorin, I've become a "better" Linux user because of Zorin 17 and the workarounds I've had to learn about and implement to get Zorin the way I want it to be. I sincerely hope Zorin 18 (Pro) has a much better "out-of-the-box" experience than 17 did. I look forward to its release and supporting the Zorin Group with my next purchase.
I will be buying it as well, you can count on that. The Zorin team never steers me wrong, they always work amazingly hard, to release a new polished OS. I love all the extra goodies I get with PRO, & I love supporting the devs.
Zorin OS is the go-to PC these days with Windows 11 and Pop off in the distance, but still a bit wary about stability, especially after the problem with the firmware update. Just ran "sudo apt full-upgrade" and got an updated kernel. Everything seems okay, but still rather cautious.
EDIT: Realized didn't need to use sudo apt full-upgrade and could have just used sudo apt upgrade because the system would have updated during a system update. In fact, didn't need to do either since the system will handle updates automatically.
