The bit about e-waste is correct, but only for dual-core processors. My good lady's machine is only a single core Athlon-64 which is currently running Q4OS!

This is still true. Move case cabinet e-atx with a motherboard e-atx, heavy gpu and many fans also hdd hard disk.
