If I had a time machine, I think a fun experiment would be going to that year and telling them that in less than 100 years we'll have micro SD cards so tiny and light that we can easily forget where we put them and that they can hold an entire terabyte of storage, all that for way cheaper than their old and big piece of metal

They surely would call me crazy

This is likely the RAMAC (Random Access Method of Accounting and Control) drive.

It is interesting that while most of the information is roughly accurate, renting storage space on the drive costing about $3200 per month - this comes out to maybe $34,000 accounting for inflation to 2025 dollars.
Not anywhere near $160,000.

According to online:

The IBM 350 hard drive was about the size of two refrigerators, and weighed around 2,140 pounds. It was composed of 50 large magnetic disks, each 24 inches in diameter.

I got the pic of FB , so the information is accurate ,ok ?
Mark fact checked it himself ...

My 1st phone had I think a whopping 2mb ram.
I could call and text AND play snakes

It's the only way I can get the screen and sound working on my new freezer from the lawn mower in my garage.

One time, wifi stopped working on my tablet out of nowhere

Solution before thinking a simple reboot might fix it? Micro-usb to normal-sized usb adapter, then usb to ethernet adapter, then ethernet cable

It surprised me that it didn't only just work, but also android gave me a notification about it. I find it wild and amusing that the android devs somehow thought of this weird setup
