Snap suck period! They made it that way.
Instead use the spotify repo instead.

How do I do that?

curl -sS https://download.spotify.com/debian/pubkey_5E3C45D7B312C643.gpg | sudo apt-key add -
echo "deb http://repository.spotify.com stable non-free" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/spotify.list
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install spotify-client

Oh thanks. Now to remove snap Spotify.

I can make an icon for bluemail n the next update.

...aaaaaand done.

Not sure if there is a non-snap version for BlueMail.

You could edit the bluemail .desktop file and then change the icon. Or use the menu editor to that. You can use Geary icon for that.

How do I even modify a .desktop file?
And do I have to download Geary to use the icon?

With a text editor - But try with the menu editor first.

Nope, just when pick the custom icon for Bluemail, you pick it from the custom icon theme directory.

Unbelievable ..... I downloaded both the lite and dark icon packs but forgot to install them ... DUH .... they really do look good with my changed theme .... here is what my DE now looks like ....

Looks great to me ..... so I'll stick with it for a while

I'm sorry, but where do I go (folder path) to modify the .desktop file?
And what section changes the icon?

I think it might be better if you use menu editor (it comes with Zorin OS), as have no idead where snap hides it. For normal installed apps they go to /usr/share/applications or ~/.local/share/applications

How do I open the menu editor?
It's not the main menu app, is it?

or by command

I am so sorry - it wasn't obvious to me, but when you open the main menu app like you said, you would have to click the app you want to change icons for, click properties, and then the part I didn't realise, you have to click on the icon. Here's my updated desktop

So, if I were to revert themes anytime, how can I go back to the original logo?

I think there's a revert button in the editor.

I don't see one in the editor.

Just checked. That menu editor doesn't have that. But there's a a restore button that will set everything back to default.
