Hello all. as of late the newer 7.0.0.28 kernel has been abit lacking...to say the least there is a kernel that is stable and some here in zorin including myself are using it with zero troubles. here is the computer specs i have
this computer is a 2021 build and works fine on the Liquorix kernel current kernel is
this kernel is made for performance and optimazation. not sure how old of a computer this can be put on. maybe some who are using it can chime in a on thier builds and lets use know how well(or not well) its worked for you

if you look at my specs you will see i am running it and have been since kernel 6.18.13 liquorix AMD64
But you have recent hardware, the problem with 7.0 hwe is regression for some hardware, that's why many fix the problem backing up to 6.17 hwe.
So for older hardware I'm not sure liquorix could be better...
I am using Liquoruix 7.1.4. (Think I mistakenly typed 7.14 elsewhere) with no issues. It is one I built myself. It has a Processor no longer officially supported by AMD, Ryzen 7 1700X with 8 Cores and 16 threads. Has 16 Gb of Corsair Vengeance Memory modules (2 x 8 Gb @ 3000 Hz) on an ASUS PRIME X470-PRO.
So from 2018.

what is working for you doesn't mean it would work for others,andd don't forget that most of guy have dual boot with windows so an unsigned kernel would never boot with secure boot activated
Well I have managed to dual boot with Windows 10 with PCLOS Debian, but haven't booted dual in a while with the dbx being out of date.
I have just upgraded youngest's machine and circumvented the Secure Boot issue using rEFIned.
I have set their rig up with a 1 Tb M.2 SATA ssd, using Rescuezilla to clone their updated Windows 11 (25H2 v2) from a 1 Tb WD Black HDD which I have turned into a Data drive.
The Hotswap Bay 1 Tb WD Black HDD has LMDE 7 with Plasma added and styled ala Windows 11.
Prior to the HDD upgrade to SSD with 8 Gb of Corsair Vengeance (2x 4 Gb @ 3000 Hz DDR4) took 7 minutes until everything running. Upgraded with an additional 32 Gb (2x 16 Gb Corsair Vengeance DDR4), Windows 11 25H2 now only takes about 2.5 minutes, the same amount of time for LMDE 7 on a HDD!
I haven't done a post upgrade video as it would be a breach of privacy.
Here is the pre-upgrade Video. The machine in question had to have a new motherboard as the computer repair guy diagnosed a drop of sweat from me building it nearly 10 years ago had eaten into the EC that controls everything. Lucky to find an ASUS Intel board that still supports DDR4 memory. Processor is now an LGA1700 12th Gen Processor (cheapest I could find).
The Secure Boot Thing is definetely worth an Info.
@wesoliv429: You should mention that in Your initial Post. It is important. If someone use Secure Boot, that could lead to Issues. Maybe write it before the Install Instructions Picture.
@Nourpon: I used the Liquorix Kernel, too. Not at the Moment because I'm running our fresh arrived beloved 7.0 Kernel. But from my Experience the Kernel offers a nice stable Experience.
Of Course, You are right, that it depends. Hardware Specs are various. But for the Case someone would want use a Kernel newer that 6.17, the Liquorix Kernel can be an Alternative. Sure, going back to 6.17 is fine, too. But for the Case someone doesn't want that, it good to know that it exists.

rEFIned resolved the Secure Boot issue for me (plus editing GRUB default to make Windows Boot Manager first option).
Of course rEFIned is an option but I don't want to become their support here

Agreed but I would suggest mainline, easiest to manage with a GUI
The GUI is a good Point, I agree. And Mainline would be an Alternative, too. Because of some Issues in the Past with Mainline here, I would go to Liquorix. But when someone perfers a graphical Interface Mainline would be the Option. But of Course with the same Info with disabled Secure Boot.
