How to get a timer and stopwatch on the bar (where the Wifi icon appears) for quick access?
In gnome, it would be by extension.
In kde it would be by the widget store.
Cinnamon or xfce you may find custom taskbar widgets/plugins by a web search.
Check the taskbar settings as some of that functionality may exist but not be implemented by default.
