Top panel customisation with applets

Hi
Is there anyway to customize the top panel +/- add side panels in Zorin OS and put applets there like in the Budgie DE, without actually using the Budgie DE?

For customizing the Top Bar, there would be the Open Bar Extension. And if You want Icons on the Top Bar, there would be the App Icons Taskbar Extension.

You can’t really customize the Zorin OS top panel exactly like you would in Budgie DE, but I’ve found some workarounds. I use Gnome Tweaks to tweak the panel a bit, and it helps with some customization options. If you’re looking for side panels, I recommend trying out a dock like Plank or Latte Dock; they’re pretty slick and can give you that extra functionality without switching DEs.

Thanks. I found two extensions that kind of do part of the customization - Top Bar organizer and Just Perfection - also Open Bar suggested by Ponce is interesting as well.

Also, you can put Zorin taskbar on the top and customize it as you like if you want to use Plank as dock for your apps
