Update Failed28 jan 2026 (solved - can be deleted)

for some reason these 3 wont update. it starts updating then it just closes without any error message. see screenshot

These could be hold-back Packages. That wouldn't be unnormal. These can have Dependency Issues or othere Reason that these would be hold-back for now. Can You type in Terminal sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade and post the Output here?

did not sudo apt autoremove yet just in case that it matters somehow for bugfixing

had to remove all : from the https links because i cant post more then 5 links. just realized that this downgraded firefox, which might be the same problem the other guy posts about not being able to update firefox. i installed zorin with complete new harddrive about 2 days ago.

but then it would be a great update to throw a message for the users. something like "update will be available soon" so everybody knows whats going on + please please please, always write a short explanation in like 1-2 sentences, not just a "read this followed by a link" so that other users with the same problem find the answer fast. ... Problem solved. threat can be closed.
