Okay, that looks fine. There are Packages but these are hold back; so there are not ready yet for updating. So, Your System seems to be up-to-date.
Why does sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade show more updates than the update manager? ![]()
Can someone explain to me why this is the case?
I also wondered because one or the other gives the same result.
But I'm not an expert and I never will be. ![]()
Thanks for the response, I'll wait a bit. ![]()
What do You mean with ''more''? If You mean the hold back Packages, there will not show in the Software Updater except there are available Packages. Then, You can see them, too. But when there only hold back Packages, there will not be shown.
No, not the one that was held back. I ran the update manager and got the message "PC is up to date."
However, using the sudo command, I still got 2-3 updates installed.
Were the updates software updates and not security ones?
@Lecros248 You should change fron the French server to Main Server in Software Updater settings. It often takes a few days for locale servers to get newer updates.
Good question, I don't know. We'll keep an eye on that. ![]()
Maybe a little Delay between the Way over the Terminal and the graphical Way over the GUI.
