I have been having so many issues with Zorin in the last 6 months !!! Zorin used to be stable and reliable. Now it seems to be a mess. Updates have been constant errors for the last 6 months. The automatic Tile windows feature is ridiculous... The height of the windows does not get adjusted depending on where they are automatically placed on top. so the bottom of windows that are below the top are missing the bottom parts(Search on firefox is on the bottom and is no longer available when the firefox window gets lowered). Now a new problem this morning.... I was finally able to do updates using a terminal command. But now one APP in shopify is not working properly and the APP customer service confirmed they did not change anything. The shopify APP allows me to print orders. The APP works perfectly well on windows computers but not on my Zorin computer. The APP just shows a blank screen instead of showing the shopify order and asking which printer to print to. It was working fine on my zorin computer yesterday ... before I did the update.
Hi Michel, I just modified the title a bit, to say issue is with Software Updater running on Z17.3. I assume that is Z17.3 Pro according to your profile info.
Is that correct, or are you running something else?
Some of us have stuck with Z17.3 as it is still supported and considered more stable than Z18 so far. I do not know of Software Updates that have gone bad for me on Z17.3. Maybe post some screenshots to illustrate.
Also. Are you running Wayland (default) or switched to X11. Switching to X11 on login screen may help you.
Also, can we look at what was upgraded?
sudo less /var/log/apt/history.log
