Upgrade zorin os fails error occurred try later

Trying to upgrade from 17.3 pro. When the upgrade tool runs, the cursor ring spins for a bit, then I get the error:
An error occurred. Please try again later.

Searching the forums shows a result from last year in which I didn't see anything I understood that helped me.

Maybe just run the newest ISO and install over the current install?

I have a dual-boot with a Windows configuration. Should I do anything special in this case?

Thanks all.

Hi. If you are wanting to move to Zorin 18.1 Pro and you have purchased it, the best method is a fresh install.

as @swarfendor437 says you have to purchase 18 Pro first.

If you already did that then make sure you remove all third party repositories before upgrading. See this thread: Upgrade Core 17 to 18 error messages unsure what to do

(BTW I upgraded 17.3 Pro to 18.1 Pro with no issues except that I was using an older kernel in 17.3 and needed to make sure to still select it in 18.1)

Is Your System up-to-date? Do You have any Third-Party Repo's added? Can You shouw a Screenshot of the Error?
