O meu notebook Asus está usando mais de 5GB de memória ram com browser sendo usando e sem o browser tá na média de 3GB tem como melhorar isso? Gostei do SO mas isso atrapalha a minha produtividade já que o meu notebook tem apenas 8GB de ram.
You can use more lightweight distributions with e.g. xfce desktop as Zorin lite.

Hi, I would look at changing your Browser to a lighter one. Take a look at Falkon, Midori or PaleMoon.

From my experience 8 gio with Gnome Desktop is a bit short even if documentation says 2 gio should be ok.
Use your computer as you do daily but launch a terminal and tip "top" in it, then "enter" - then have a look sometimes and try to knowledge the process who needs more ressources.
Using another browser could help i don't know much about Brave i use Firefox since always ... Midori could be an idea, as said above.
Spotify / Deezer for instance, needs a lot of ressources - in case you use these apps ...

When You use Zorin Core with Gnome, I would suggest to switch to Zorin Lite. Normally, I would also suggest to invest in more RAM but because of the current Times and RAM Prices, I don't do it.

I agree both ram and vid cards are nuts at this time due to all the Data centers eating up all the available supplies

It depends, DDR3 RAM is not so expensive. And you could check if there are slots available to add RAM Riegel and maybe there is DDR3 RAM Generation compatibility.
To see if it is possible for you to extend your RAM, you can get the RAM Infos with this Terminal command and post it here:
sudo dmidecode -t 17
And to help you can you also post the output under settings - System - Info?

Medion Akoya E4212 14'' Laptop: Intel I3 2310M, 16 GB RAM DDR3
My Medion Laptop from year 2011 looks as new has under Zorin OS Pro (18.1, Linux Kernel 7.0.0-28-generic) a very good performance. Did upgrade its hardware from 8 to 16 GB RAM DDR3 and System Disk from HDD to SSD. Still use it for Internet Surfing and for interested people to demonstrate and to check out Linux as Zorin OS.
My experience is that a PC with 16 GB DDR3 RAM can be faster than with 8 GB DDR4 RAM. But I did not measure that.

I use Zorin Lite 17 with 8 GiB of DDR3 RAM and i3 on my laptop of 2012 and don't experience any limitations when using my laptop for everyday tasks (internet browsing, streaming videos, writing documents...). No freezes or stuttering, not even when watching videos. But I don't open many browser tabs at the same time and close apps when I'm ready with it. A time ago the fan/nvidia card had made troubles after an update (I used LM 22 XFCE at that time), but at the moment with Zorin 17 Lite, it is running well. The Core version of Zorin was too heavy for my laptop for watching videos (overheating and loud fans).
It can also help to do without Flatpak nor Snaps and to limit to native .deb/apt packages because they are not sandboxed and need a little bit less RAM.
I myself don't use flatpaks and snaps on my old system to save ressources.

Only reason i asked on the DDR3 i never see it for sale unless i go looking i mainly see DDR4 & DDR5 This system has DDR4 3200 mhz 32GB backup has DDR4 16 GB 3600mhz this one needed 3200 or 3600 speed for overclocking the APU which i have done not alot out of box its 3.6 ghz i uped it to 4.0 GHZ
