Usr folder in Home

Am I supposed to have a folder called usr in my Home folders ..... I don't ... see photo ....

I do how ever have one under Home/root but that one doesn't do what I wanted .....

I am trying to add a Refresh choice to my right click context menu ..... I am trying to follow an on-line video about adding one in Mint ( I think Zorin should be the same ) .....

I followed all the steps but after restarting my computer nothing shows up in that menu .....

Before I created a folder in the Actions step I did like he said and opened Root from my Right Context Menu then opened the folder and pasted the info he provided into the folder .....

I restarted my laptop but nothing new appeared in the Right Context Menu .... see last photo ..... any ideas where I fouled up ???? ... thanks

In your home folder should not be a /usr folder, only in /root.

What do you want to do with /usr? Do you want to create systemwide actions? Then you should put them to /usr/share/nemo/actions.
This offers the advantage that you can also see the actions in the context menu when you use nemo with administrator rights.
For actions that are only for your user you can create them at ~/.local/share/nemo/actions.

I changed the selection from "none" to "any"
Selection=any
and "Refresh" is shown in right-click menu.

Not ignoring you I just can't get it to work right so I'm going to delete the procedures I have now and retry your suggestions again ..... thanks

Well I finally figured it out I did everything correctly EXCEPT the guy creating the video forgot one little thing in his video .... you have to install xdotool on your computer .... he mentioned it in the comments below the video .... which I very seldom read .... it now works fine ....

Forphi: ..... thanks for your help you you pointed me in the right direction .....
