Hello I just bought 18 pro , my laptop : i5 8250u 16gb ram ,512gb ssd
It runs very slow and laggy with zorin 18 , it takes to much time when try run anything, even browser. I switch from windows 25h2 to zorin , windows was like run smoother. Any help ?

The lag ui is not anymore and it load now even quicker
Do you have Dualboot with Windows? If yes, please disable fast startup there.
And during use of Linux it can help to disable secure boot and fast boot in BIOS.
No just only installed there zorin, security boot is disable .
@l3allermann82 Can you say which slow/lag issues you still face, since switching to Xorg?
If we know, we may then be able to help you some more.

Now seems works perfekt after switch to xorg.
