I am running ZorinPro on my MacbookAir. I had Viber (flatpak) installed and working/sync'd with Viber on my phone.
About a week ago a Viber update was installed through my Software Manager. After the update, when clicking on the viber icon, the app would not start, it just went back to my most previous screen.
I tried a purge/remove, re-install. I again removed the flatpak install and tried installing the .deb version but had the same result. All other apps seem fine.
I am looking for help!!!!

If not, as it is a proprietary app not associated with Ubuntu, suggest you raise a ticket on the Viber Portal:
