Wacom tablet not working

I just bought my first drawing tablet, a Wacom intuos S, and it's not working properly. I ran the command sudo dmesg | grep -i "wacom" and at the very end of the resulting line it said: "[15979.520258] wacom 0003:056A:0374.0008: wacom_idleprox_timeout: tool appears to be hung in-prox. forcing it out." several times.
Then I ran the xsetwacom list devices command and the result was: "Wayland devices found but this tool is incompatible with Wayland. See
Wayland · linuxwacom/xf86-input-wacom Wiki · GitHub"
So what am I supposed to do? Or is it simply not going to work?

That means that Your System is running in Wayland. Try it with switching to Xorg. To do that, go to the Login Screen. Click there on Your Profile so that the Password Field appears. When it is appeared, You should see a Gear Icon in the bottom right Corner. Click on it and choose the Option ''Zorin Desktop on Xorg'' and then log in and try the Command again.
