waking up from suspend make the keyboard stop working for a few moments in Zorin OS 16.1 core
The suspend and hibernate option do not work for most of the users using Ubuntu. If they are putting your PC in a state of coma, I would recommend removing not using them. You can lose a lot of data/important work. If it is a minor issue still consider using them with caution as this issue has no viable solution for now
Are you connecting the keyboard with PS/2 or with USB? Or is it a Notebook computer?
This is common, this is due to the usb controller going to sleep, and re-detecting the devices upon hibernation, this re-detection helps prevent kernel panics / de crashes from devices suddenly going missing from memory. you can try seeing if sleep performs better than hibernation in this regard. If this is a usb keyboard try using a different set of ports on the pc, if it is a laptop, try setting the usb to legacy in firmware.
