How can i use this work in Kdenlive?
It could be due to the mismatch between Qt application and Gnome:
What does this mean?
"Need to start Kdenlive with the following command parameter for it to work:
VKICDFILENAMES=/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/amdproicd64.json "
That is bizarre as vulkan (if memory serves me correctly) relates to nvidia not AMD.
I notice you were using 'Experimental' - i never use this option. Just used simple screen recorder (simplescreenrecorder if you are wanting to install via terminal.
Here are my settings:
KDEnlive:
Ensure 'Other' settings are shown and make sure quality is set to max (see where my mouse is pointing to).
Why your render menu is not tha same as mine? What version do you use?
You are probably using either Snap or Flatpak version which I do not use at all:
You also need to make sure you are screen capturing in xorg, not Wayland which is what Zorin 17 desktop defaults to. When you login, select your username and a cog appears lower right - click on this and select 'Zorin on xorg'.
Additionally, I have removed Gnome Software (Software) via the terminal, which is why you won't see a 'shopping bag' in my panel:
sudo purge gnome-software
this gets rid of flatpak and snap at a stroke, but don't do this if you rely on a snazzy app installer!
To install synaptic package manager:
sudo apt install synaptic
Oh i see. You are using an older version of Kdenlive. I use Ksnip for screenshots and OBS for screen recording.
I am using Spectacle for Screenshots (got from Synaptic Package Manager), and smplescreenrecorder because it is not dependent on Pulse Audio which I do not use. I am only using Zorin 17 Core install to help forum members out as I do not use Zorin as my daily driver. But I do remove stuff I don't like or want such as Software, snap and flatpak.
