I'm a guy who like more of the less type and there some apps that I remove after installation for replacement of another app(s). I got Zorin OS Pro - but choose minimal installation. Not questioning the devs decisions but I have my preferences
On my fresh installation of Zorin OS I remove LibreOffice to replaced with OnlyOffice and Brave gets replaced with Chromium. Rhytmebox gets replaced with Amberol and Totem gets replaced with Clapper.
Then I install all my other stuff to bloat things up
I don't remove much, to be honest. On my virtual machines the first thing I do is remove LibreOffice because I know I won't be using it, and it takes forever to update.
Other than that... Snaps go away first. I used to download Brave as an alternative browser to Firefox (since a lot of websites need Chromium-based browsers to work) but this isn't a problem anymore.
I do the minimal install, now that I've learned what I use and need.
Remove: LibreOffice > install SoftMaker
I also use Amberol as my music player.
Okular as the pdf viewer.
I remove the audio and video editing tools, if installed.
I didn't buy Zorin OS 16 Pro, to receive a minimalist approach. I bought Pro to get all the stuff to make less work for me, to get the added goodies, and to support the dev's. I did disable Zorin Dash though, but thats just 1 thing.
I also installed Zorin OS Lite Pro on my 2nd internal drive. Its there as a backup incase Zorin OS Pro Gnome goes to garbage. Good news however, I've been running OS 16, in all the years its been around, & I have had no complete melt downs with it.
OK, to avoid installing Zorin Core with Brave Browser, I downloaded Zorin 17.2 Core with Firefox - removed Firefox and replaced with zen browser, a fork of firefox. I totally removed Gnome Software Center and use only terminal and Synaptic Package Manager which also can be used for system updates. I installed Skanlite in preference over Document Scanner - but I do have VueScan, but as my daily driver is not Zorin I will not be installing it on Zorin. I removed Zorin Connect and replaced it with KDE Connect. Not replacement as think screenshot is part of the system, but I installed Spectacle, much better. My preferred Audio app is Audacious as it means I can use ALSA over Pulse Audio and I also get sound out of my 6 speaker 5.1 surround system. I installed Okular in preference over Document Viewer - Okular outshines any other pdf viewer, which can also display Presentations with the Presentation backend, in addition, pdf's can be set to display as a Presentation with a time delay between slides - it's just the best pdf viewer out there and you can extract images, text and tables to paste into a document of your choice. For me there is only one Office Suite and that is SoftMaker Office, but LibreOffice comes in handy sometimes. Again, I have not installed SoftMaker Office on my Zorin install as it is not my daily driver.
