Hello Michel, I think its great that after all these years, we finally have a gaming category. BTW, love the screenshots from that game, looks amazing!
Yeah finally! haha. Glad it's here. Mass Effect 3 Legendary Edition with Photomode turned on (the one with cerberus armor). Unlocking the door to get to the bomb to blew up the place from the Ardat-Yakshi. I hate those banshee's...hard to kill.
Yes, sometimes the Faces look ... a bit awkward in this Game, hahaha! But it is really a great Game-Trilogy! I enjoyed it till the End.
Shepard made a selfie there
Well if i do that i would look a bit different haha
Is that the lord of the rings game from epic games that became free a week or 2-3 ago ?
No this is vermintide 2. Can't help but love it.
This is the first I am hearing of Vermintide 2, it wasn't even listed at the game awards this year. You know, I am just going to say it, I think it was absolutely ridiculous, that Astrobot won the game awards, a childs game won, not any of the big hit adult titles like Stalker for example.
And furthermore, I am surprised that the makers of Astrobot are not being sued right now. They literally are stealing other games content, and putting it in their game, most notable, Nintendo Super Mario content. Its obviously copyright infringement, everybody knows it, so, I'm surprised legal proceedings haven't already started.
Now the games I am looking forward to, there is one coming from the makers of Alien Isolation, who are working on an Aliens movie version as we speak, but won't likely be released until 2 years from now. And, the other one, is a game being worked on by a brand new dev studio, Starship Simulator. I'm excited for both games when they release.
I tell you what I have 0 interest in, is all these online competitive games. They all copy each other, they make the same boring stale games one after another, all for the soul purpose of online play. But all those games have no substance, no story, nothing to capture me into playing them.
And if you have no friends or family members who play those games, it really makes online competitive games all useless dumb games for people like me. I personally am an FPS gamer, I don't care about online, I only care about single player games with great story lines.
Its one of the reason why Alien Isolation captured my heart so much, because it was made true to the Alien movie, just took place on a space station, instead of a space ship, but it was an honest owed to the movie, and so well done.
And I tell you something else, I don't play games with loot boxes either, or pay to win BS. Thats the reason why I didn't play Fallout 76, cause I found out about Bethesda's stupid antics, that ruined the game. Now they are in development of Fallout 5, and I am very much interested in that game, when it comes out in 5 years. Hopefully, they don't screw it up like 76, and produce something solid.
Until the games I am waiting on are released, I am just keeping my eye out there, to see what comes out. But its starting to become a thing where AA game titles are becoming more of a thing then AAA titles, cause game dev's keep screwing up their games with micro transactions/loot boxes.
Also, Indie titles are very popular these days, but most of those are in the Indie Horror online community, is where I am seeing most of the successful ones. BTW, I really loved the Mass Effect games, yes they were 3rd person, but they were awesome AAA titles. They had substance, they had story, they were pure awesome.
Yes, Shepard had the look like he wanted to kill you in game cinematic's or dialog, guess they never fixed that. But the games were enjoyable at least, and showed that a gaming developer, could actually make a solid game if they wanted to.
But there is a lot of slop coming out these days I tell ya, like Star Wars Outlaws, Concord, a whole host of garbage games that shouldn't have been made in the first place, if they aren't gonna put in the time, to do it right. And again, I won't be playing Astrobot, its a game for little kids, I have no interest. I can't believe that won the game awards over Stalker of all games.
That just shows the game awards are rigged, I gotta be honest.
If you're looking for a couple indies that aren't horror, a couple of my recommendations go out to Dave the Diver and Dredge. Very good games, and not 100+ hours each so you actually stand a chance at completing them.
I've been currently been trying to play through Pacific Drive, and while it's an ok game thusfar, not sure I could recommend it. A little too repetitive, but maybe that will change over time.
Interesting that you brought up Pacific Drive. I almost bought that game, because the game looked really interesting, and I could see myself wanting to play it. But I didn't have the funds at that time to put to a game, so I just watched the entire game instead.
I watched a couple YouTuber's play it, and while it was a very cool game for an Indie title, I tend to agree with your assessment of the game, it ended up being sort of repetitive. Lots and lots of back and fourth, from the garage, to the action, back to the garage, back to the action, back to the garage again.
And my gosh, that lady who owned the garage, clearly the same acctress who voice acted Magurite Maida in Subnautica, was so freaking annoying in Pacific Drive. Has humanity fallen so far, that she forgot how to be civil? The SOP I got from her was, she only cared about the science, and every human can go to you know where.
It isn't till nearly the end of the game, that you find out about the specifics of her loss. And I guess her whole shtick was, because of her loss, nothing else matters anymore, so just give up. For the record, those who go through real losses, thats not the message you should take.
The writing was just bad, and needed a writing proof reader to go over it, and provide notes on necessary changes, if you really wanted the writing to be good and believable. Yes, graphics were decent, sound design was ok, gameplay sometimes good but repetitive yes. I suppose 3 out of 5 stars for that game.
another one would be pizza tower, if you like fast-paced platformers
i havent gotten the time to finish it yet, but so far from what i've played it is everything but horror; it's cartoony with some jokes here and there
I am very surprised how Crysis Remastered runs, butter smooth!

The lightning on the gun is amazing too:
Hello Michel, thanks for sharing the performance info, as well as the lovely screenshot, from the Crysis Remastered.
I played the original 3 games years ago, I loved them all. They had a unique gameplay mechanic, that other games like Farcry didn't have.
The original graphics even back in the day, were really quite spectacular, and as usual, required performance top tier hardware, in order to produce the full experience.
I want to buy the full Crysis remastered series on Steam next month. Then I am going to binge play all 3 Crysis games, on my new lovely monitor.
PS: Hope you enjoyed the new pics I uploaded of the monitor, that spacer was just the ticket. I also assume you are running the remastered games on full graphics.

I tend to play Team Fortress 2 LOL.
I used to play a lot of that years ago, my favorite was to play the medic. Most people didn't want to play the medic, cause they thought he was weak. Yeah well, when I played the medic, people learned to fear me. Not only was I good supporting the heavy, while we rampaged the area like total bosses, but I was also good with that needle gun, leaving folks totally dumbfounded.
But like all multi-player games with 0-substance, the game got old after awhile, and the whinny kids on their mic's got really old after awhile, I eventually stopped playing TF2. After that, I completely got out of online multi-player games entirely. I derive so much more joy, playing a single player game.
