while installing ttf-mscorefonts-installer through terminal on zorin 17.3 in the process of installation the end user license agreement statement overtakes the terminal after everything is stated that needs to be said in the user license agreement
it states "ok" ok is not activated and does not close the user license agreement it is assumed that this process stops either installation or removal of the ttf-mscorefonts-installer once it appears so neither is able to be accomplished if we assume it did its job and try to purge it we get the following in terminal: Waiting for cache lock: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend. It is held by process 4036 (apt)
The 'Ok' in terminal is a CLI object, not a mouse-clickable button. You must navigate to it using the keyboard keys, then tap the enter key, in order to activate it.

Personally I find it easier to copy the necessary fonts directly as I have had issues when it comes to removing ms core fonts in the past. One nice thing about SoftMaker Hoffice and their Free Office comes with Arial.
