Yes
I Installed And Opend
Created Virtual Machine And Named Windows 10
But Error Is This: Gru Meditation
I Have Another PC is Old
Is System Windows 11
I'am Try In This PC
But Freezed
So, did this happen after launching the virtual machine? Or did you not get that far?
What are your system specs, and those of the virtual machine you created? The fact that it froze everything really sounds like you allocated too many resources to run out of memory on the host.
After Created Is Error Gru Meditation
But I Can't Fix This
System Specs MY LAPTOP
Zorin OS Lite 17.2 64-Bit
Acer Chromebook 15 CB3-532 Banon
99GB + 24GB Storage USB (TWO STORAGE IN ONE USB BECAUSE I CREATED TWO PARTITION)
2GB RAM + 16GB Swap Linux = 18GB RAM
Intel Celeron N3060
Virtual Machine (IN THIS IMAGE)
Is Something Not Okay??
Or...
I Downloaded Deb Package
My Ubuntu is 22.04
But Is Zorin OS LIte 17.2
Also I Downloaded From Here:
https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Linux_Downloads
(PS: INGORE Inaccessible)
But I Deleted The Deb Package and Installed Original Version
This is the problem... you are allocating your entire available memory to the virtual machine which would naturally leave your host system without any for itself.
Using a swap partition does not increase the amount of physical memory that your system has. It creates a space in your storage drive where excess memory can be stored temporarily, which can happen when you are short of RAM... but you still need some RAM left for that process to take place. Plus, regular drives are orders of magnitude slower than RAM. That would never work.
So...
Is Something Else to Do it?
You could create a virtual machine with less memory. However, 2GB of RAM is already pretty low for Windows 10, so I'll doubt that will run smoothly, if at all.
Your only other option is to physically install more RAM on your Chromebook.
I agree with @zenzen , 2GB is to little for running VMs. You need 4GB to run Windows 10 at minimum if you want to do work on it and another 4GB for the VM although you could it to crawl at 2GB, but you would properly see how bad they run with so few RAM. The more physical RAM the better.
Modern systems requires at least 8GB todays standard. tough Zorin Lite can run on 2GB, but you still need RAM to do work on it.

So Ram Not Upgrading in Chromebook
I Have A Another PC Installed Virtualbox
4GB Ram Is In This PC
Error Gru Meditation Is This IN PC
My PC INFOMATION
Dell Optiplex 960
1.5 TB Hard Disk SSD
4GB RAM + 4GB Swap Linux = 8GB Ram
Zorin OS Core 17.2 64-bit
This is Okay??
Hello Youtuberkid. I see on the webpage Windows 10 X Lite requires 2GB RAM.
Your Windows virtual machine has 2 CPU. Go into settings for that virtual machine and lower it to one and see if it starts.
No, this is not correct. As I explained earlier, increasing the amount of Swap will not increase the amount of RAM.
Swap space is used when your system starts running short on memory, but needs to swap it out to disk. As in, literally move bits stored in the RAM stick to the out to the physical disk. For example, when running multiple programs at once that might otherwise not be able to run properly. But this assumes that these programs can "play nice" with each other by releasing cached assets that they don't immediately need.
Therefore, you only have 4GB of RAM. You'll have to account for whatever amount of memory the host system needs to run, including the hypervisor itself, before allocating any resources to the guest system. If 2GB is enough for Windows... I don't know, it sounds extremely low to me. Maybe that X Lite version that @j_luz mentions will be a better fit.
You need to have a decent level of physical RAM in the first place. Quite awhile ago I installed Windows 7 Pro 64-bit on youngest's machine and it baulked one day. I made it a .vhd in Virtual Box with 4 Gb RAM and it ran more smoothly than on the native 8 Gb RAM. The normal advice when running virtual machines is that you should not exceed half of the physical RAM that the Host uses. You will be struggling with what you have. Out of curiosity I downloaded the Windows 11 X-Lite and it immediately demanded 8 Gb RAM and 128 Gb of Storage space in virt-manager.
Hello Again!
Everyone Thanks For Helping Me
But Still Not Working
Also I'am Stucked In This Image
Mouse And Keyboard Not Working
So I'am Tryed In PC But I Get This Error
I had an error like that when I downloaded VirtualBox from the Zorin Software. But when I downloaded it from the Oracle VirtualBox site it ran. I am using VirtualBox 7.1.6 from the Oracle site.
You can try loading the modules:
modprobe vboxdrv
modprobe vboxnetflt
modprobe vboxnetadp
Edit: Or try @j_luz suggestion above that popped up while I was typing this. THis makes sense to me, given that you repeatedly show a hash mismatch and a kernel modules mismatch.
I Tryed
She Says
Unbale To Install Software
I'am Not Sure
I Have a See The Message Error
I think YoutuberKid needs a new computer. As such, YoutuberKid could make that their new years resolution for 2025. If anyone is going to be getting into doing VM's, I would strongly recommend a machine with at least 32GB of RAM.
This way your main OS can utilize at least 16GB of that, while the VM would be able to use 16GB as well. Anything less then 32GB of RAM, is not recommended for VM usage. There are people on here who have 64GB to 128GB of RAM, that are doing VM usage.
Darn. Is it possible to install Windows 10 X Lite to a USB drive??
I Installed Zorin OS Lite in USB
So Yes!
How About VMware??
VMware Is Better
But Says
The Processer Not Supporting Xsave
What is That Mean??
It appears to have a hardware requirement for a Sandy Bridge or later architecture Intel processor that contains the XSAVE instruction.
If your computer is old, it doesn't have this requirement.
