i have a intel i7 2600 and a gtx 780 and i have 8gb of ram and i wanna play some gta 5 and some minecraft and sometims i wanna try newer games like the avengers game

I am not a gamer ( just a casual) but I think you will be fine with both, core and lite

In my case I have better performance with Gnome (core) .
But it depends. You have better PC configuration.

You can try both, ofc, and which desktop environment you like more.

Xfce or Gnome

Zorin OS comes with gamemode pre-installed. The only thing you need to do is set up games to use it.
