When clicking on a network drive error cannot allocate memory

I am running 17.3
I have a saved SMB location and if the computer is left sitting over night, I cant access the folder and get a [Unhandled error message: Cannot allocate memory]

Going to system monitor, I am not using even 1/4 of teh 16GB of memory.

Rebooting solves the problem.

Does anyone know something about this kind of network situation that requires some kind of setting change?

Does it go in Stand-By Or Energy Saving Mode?

When You are going back of the stand By does Your Network Connection in common work or do You have Problems with this, too?
