When desktop icons are enabled, menus block clicking on other apps

Hello everyone,

I have been using Zorin for a few weeks, and liking it quite a lot, but one bug (I think) has been annoying me a lot: when I have desktop icons extension enabled, and if I right click in the desktop to open a menu, I can't just click on another app. Instead, I need to go back to the desktop, click outside the menu, and then click on the other app.

I have tried Gnome on Fedora and, with the same plug-in, thjs behavior won't happen.

Is this a bug, or is it by design, maybe a setting somewhere I am missing?

BTW it only happens with menu on the desktop (I think) - on other apps it works normally.

Thanks in advance!

Are you using Wayland?

Yes, Wayland. And can confirm the same behavior as the other post.

I think XLibre is the way forward.

That is normal. The Right-Click Menu is then ... how can I say that ... in the ''Foreground''. So, You have to click again to close it.
