When switching to ZorinOS, does it automatically connect you to your ethernet?

Hello, I just want to ask if switching to ZorinOS from Windows will automatically have me connected to my ethernet on ZorinOS, since I am planning to switch to ZorinOS. I just want to know the answer to this question and if it doesn’t automatically connect, what do you have to do?

Mine does. Before I turn on my computer, I plug in the cable and turn on my computer.

Otherwise you can easily change between wired and wifi:

Alright, thanks for the info!

Do you know which ethernet card you have for a quick google search?

The ethernet card I use is 5GBASE-T

It seems to work, you can test your computer here:

Yup, it seems to be perfectly compatible.

Welcome to the Forum!

I have a Dual Boot System with Windows 10 and Zorin 17.1 Core and can confirm @Storm's Comment that the Ethernet Connection stays active when switching from one OS to the other.
