Wifi help needed

Hello,
I am still in learning mode with linux and seem to have hit something i cant trouble shoot.
main issue here is wifi is sitting unclaimed.
I am running Zorin core 18 nvidia. back info - i do have an legacy PC running a home media server (ubuntu) everything works fine.
but yet i just cant seem to get wifi working on my main pc with linux. ive tried a couple flavors of ubuntu, mint, pop os, bazzite, and now Zorin. all of them wifi works when running a live session on my usb thumbdrive. but when i install the OS ( seperate hard drive then my windows)
the wifi doesnt work. last time i attempted it even broke my wifi for my windows.
no additional drivers show up in the zorin updater.
secure boot = disabled, fastboot = disabled, wifi = on
no soft or hard blocks detected.

i will also state ive combed through the forum via search first for my initial rounds of trouble shooting and did not find the answers thank you for anyone that can help me trouble shoot. id really like to finally run linux as a daily driver on my Main pc.

well i see wifi and pcie both have same id # and the probe failed as well the 110 error is a timeout it seems almost looks like the wifi is working and causing an error to happen to the pcie card as both are using same id....not sure how to fix this..but there maybe folk around soon who may know how

try booting into windows and disabling fast startup

and in bios make sure secure boot is disabled as well

also in the additional drivers section is there any drivers there?

Update
i verified Fast boot was disabled in my bios it was. However it was not disabled in Windows its self which i did not know i needed to do. i achomplished this with command line disableing hibernation.
Wifi is now claimed and seems to be working.
no other driver updates were offered in the updates inside of zorin. to answer that question.
Thank you very much for your very quick help. I may be kicking myself for not knowing that but your wording choice made me recheck my steps and realize a very dumb mistake. you have my thanks! ive been trouble shooting this for longer than i care to Admit haha.

Even when they sound similar, these are 2 different Options that have to be checked seperately.

Fast Boot => BIOS
Fast Start-Up => Windows

Thanks again. ive been trying to figure this out with no luck from other distro communities. good to see this community is alive and active. with linux becoming so much more accessible to less knowledgeable users ( such as myself ) its imporant to have a live community. look forward to finally moving away from windows and learning more about MY system via using and tweaking linux

yes i did not realize they were 2 seperate things. windows doesnt call it fast boot inside of windows its locked in with "sleep" which makes it so windows doesnt fully "shut down " which obviously can cause issues with another operating system start to load up everything. apparently lol. anyways ive been trouble shooting this for 6 months. NO one mentioned disableing this "inside " of windows. only saying " check your bios for xy and z"
