Winboat install

I know your pain Artisto. I just went through the same thing last week. In the end I gave up and turned to AI. I used Claude ai. I asked some questions about why I could not get winboat to work. It turned out that I did ot have everything loaded.

So this is how I got things to work. In the Winboat install page it will show a list of things that must be installed besides Docker. Such as Docker container etc. Each one will have a line and need a green check mark on the left to show winboat has got it. I started by asking AI how to install the first one with the terminal.Once in I went to the next line, etc. There are4 or 5 lines that need to be run in terminal. That was it. Runs great now but did have a bump or two before settling down. That said, I could not have done it without AI.

Haha. Yeah, it's painful alright. I thought I kinda was using AI. I have been using the brave browser trying to troubleshoot this. Everything on mys system "APPEARS" to be installed. I really wish I could get someone who knows more than I do to remote in and look under the hood here and show me what the issue is. It seems to have installed just fine in Linux Mint having basically done the same thing I did for Zorin. I think I ran accross the developer for Winboat online today, so I wrote to him. I'm waiting to see if he replies. I thought I had reached out to them before but it looks like I couldn't get a hold of anyone. But thanks for the solidarity!
