@harolnick - sorry to hear abour your installation problems. Since your laptop has Win7, I imagine it must be quite old - is it possible that it has a 32 bits processor (instead of 64 bits)? If so, Zorin wouldn't work on it, at least the latest versions which are only available for 64 bits.
