Zorin OS Core 18
From the Main Menu, Select: Windows App Support.
Windows App Support, only opens "Software" with an error message:
"Sorry, There are no details for that application"
How do we remove this defective software?
i.e. Remove "Windows App Support" completely from Zorin

Do You have Windows App Support installed? If not, then that what You see is only a Link which leads to the Installation. You can uninstall this Shortcut with:
sudo apt purge zorin-windows-app-support-installation-shortcut

If I understand correctly, Zorin 18 has a link to a failed App, or non-existing app.
Maybe it should be completely removed from the Zorin OS, that way all Zorin users, will not have defect links in their OS?
i.e. if Windows App Support link in Zorin points to nothing....then it should be remove from Zorin.

No. When You click normal on this, it should lead to the Install Page of Windows App Support.
What this is, is a redirect in the app menu to Install Windows App Support from the Software Store.
I admit, I do not like this feature. The App menu should only show installed applications.
It should not advertise ones that are not installed.

There is no "Windows App Support" in Software, hence why it shows the error.
I think the "Windows App Support" link / reference should be removed, as it defective. (does not work)
Or
The link should be fixed, and or, The "Windows App Support" application should be in Software 'Store'
This way when a user selects the menu "Windows App Support", that it actually does what it is intended to do...

Have you tried using the Search tool in Software store and enter "Windows App Support".
There was a Software Store issue a long time ago, when you could not see the App icon in Software, but a Search did actually find it.
I'm not saying this is the case now, but maybe worth a try.

@AZorin, it appears the App Menu entry that redirects to Zorin Windows App Support does not fully redirect to the installation process.
Windows app support is always messed up for me too. I don't really intend to use it because of this. Installing it works fine but uninstalling it is kind of a nightmare and reinstalling it after can break your pakage manager. I hope with the next version of zorin they just use bottles only instead.

At the end of the day, I do not plan to use Windows App Support. The one remaining Windows App I have, I just use on Andriod phone and not on the Desktop / Laptop running the amazing Zorin, you and your team are supporting. A big thank you for all you help.
So I have a workaround.
Trying to move away from Windows, so Removing the Menu item "Windows App Support" from Zorin, is the correct fix for me..

Hmm ... when You go to Software & Updates and there in the first Tab on the left: Is there ''Main Server'' chosen for the Download Source?
I don't know if Search is case sensitive, but try add the caps. Windows App Support in search.

Regarding the question on case-sensitivity. Screenshots from Ponce-De-Leon shows lowercase.....

Thank you for all the help, but I am parking this one as 'fixed'.
The fix for me is to remove the App / link, as I have no plan at this stage to use Windows Apps. I have a workaround on Android Phone for one Windows APP, and can thus keep Zorin "clean"

I was also experiencing this issue where clicking the only result for 'Windows App Support' in the Zorin Menu or Apps was just taking me to the Software app and saying "Sorry! There are no details for this application." I have no idea how Bottles work and I'm trying to launch some software for my mechanical keyboard, so I'm hoping Windows App Support can handle it.
I uninstalled the shortcut using Ponce-De-Leon's command from February 16th and then entered the following command in the terminal:
sudo apt install zorin-windows-app-support-installation
I was prompted to enter "N" for default settings (I'm not familiar with what the other options mean), but after that I searched Apps for Windows App Support and didn't see anything, but there was a result for "Wine", which looks like it's the same thing or similar? It went through an update and then I clicked 'Okay' after it pulled up a Configuration window with Windows 10 selected from a drop down.
Unfortunately, I still don't see Windows App Support and haven't been able to launch the keyboard software. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can actually download Windows App Support since there's no results for it in Software? (I made sure my Software Updater settings had main server selected).
