What happens with the Zorin themes when flatpaks are removed? Won't they work no longer?
The Zorin Themes are not Flatpaks.
They are standard. However, ZorinGroup also includes the Zorin Themes for Flatpak packages for system consistency.
If you navigate to /usr/share/themes, you can review the Zorin Themes. However, Flatpak packages cannot (by default without flatseal) see them.

Thank you, Aravisian. It are the only flatpaks that are shown when I enter "flatpak list" and I thought they are needed.
Nah... If you feel the destructive urge, you can get after them with a sledge hammer.

I knew this was an option but I thought it was a 'no no' because it installed software with no way of updating it in the future? Is that incorrect?
That is... not accurate information.
Anything you install through apt is a .deb package.
However, if you install froma .deb package without adding a source to your sources.list, you will not get alerted to and offered updates.
In the case I install a .deb without setting up a repository source, I create a folder named Installs and I place every .deb package I download and install in that folder.
When I need to update, I download the new .deb, run it, then replace the old .deb with the new in that folder.
If I want to remove a .deb installed software, I visit that folder, launch the .deb package for that software and select teh Uninstall option.
That one folder makes managing standalone .deb packages very easy.

I am new to Zorin OS and came over to it because of the end of support for Window 10. I have found Zorin to be a perfect substitute for WIn 10, it literally does everything that Windows did for me.
The only negative that I have lost is my MFLabel printer, for which I can find no drivers.
The positives are:
LibreOffice which handles my old MSOffice files perfectly. Including some reasonably complicated spredasheets that use fuctions like "=IF(D718<>"",VLOOKUP(D718,$J$3:$K$9,2),"")".
Zorin Connect. Which works brilliantly, better that anything I found in the Windows world.
Ternimal. Which I remember from my UNIX days, many years ago. Much more powerful that the Windows command line.
GIMP. the best free piece of software I have seen.
I can even run my beloved tactics game Age of Empires II. thanks to Wine and Windows app Support. In fact, it runs more smoothly and supports my graphics card BETTER than Windows did, I can get the higher resolution in Zorin OS.
To Summarise, I now use Zorin OS exclusively for my games and serious usage. I wish I had not been so idle and had taken the leap earlier.
My personal thanks go to all the contributors to the creation and maintenance of Zorin OS.

This is a Windows 10 theme for Zorin (GTK)
I've used Windows Vista/7 themes with proper icon packs and cursors.

You'll be surprised about abandon-ware websites, there you can find CD images of 2000-ish games that won't start in Windows 11, but will do properly install in Zorin OS.

Honestly, I think Mint would be the smoother option here — the interface is super straightforward and feels really familiar if you’re coming from Windows. If you go with the Cinnamon desktop, the transition is almost painless, since most things look and behave the way your friends or family would expect. It’s not flashy, but that’s kind of the point — it just works.

An update on my Zorin OS experience.
I now have NO NEGATIVES as I have solved my printer problems.
I found a website that sells clones of the MFLabel DT426B called the XPrinter DT426B. The address is:

They have a .deb file you can download and install using GDebi. Just make sure that the printer is plugged in and switched on before installing the driver. It then works fine.
I am now using Zorin OS exclusively.
