Oh yeah absolutely! But the game was Live For Speed, which does not exist on the steam store - it was added to steam using the add non-steam game feature:
So yeah, i was trying to get the app_id for that game.
I would use lutris for that game and manuall install d3dcompiler_43 and d3dx9_43 with wine
