Zorin 17, Wayland, Chromium browser goes haywire/malfunctions when pressing Tab+Alt.
This only happens I think with Wayland, not X11. Also drag and dropping files often doesnt work with Wayland.

But anyways, see video below, I select the video file and hold down the mouse, then click Tab+Alt to change windows and drag and drop a file into the Chromium browser. Once I let go of the mouse button and drop the file, 30% of the time it will go haywire, i then have to press Tab to stop it. See excellent video example: https://cdn.videy.co/T2lt7QNA.mp4

This is very annoying.

But hey, wayland is latest, then it most be greatest /sarcasms

On a serious note, if it annoys you switch back to X11, Wayland is not ready for common use, despite what people say.

There are a lot of teething issues with Wayland that have made using it 24/7 basically impossible. An issue here, a hiccup there, and it's just safer to use Xorg at this point in time.

I think trying to iron out these hiccups now is maybe a good idea, depending on how the future goes. They can get ahead of the change before most distros and try to iron out these bugs. But when you go to do something (in my case, streaming, for example) and you just can't have anything go wrong, then it's Xorg 100%.
