Zorin not picking up my blue tooth mouse (microsoft mouse) I've read all the posts none have a solution that works for me. Installed blueman mouse still not being detected. Using an Acer laptop if that helps Other bluetooth devices seem to be working ( Android phone, Lenovo ear pods) Any help sorting this out would be appreciated.

Does Your System run in Wayland or X11? You can check that with the Terminal Command echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE
When it runs in Wayland, You could try it with switching. To do that, go to the Login Screen. Click on Your Profile so that the Password Field appears. When it is appeared, You should see a Gear Icon in the bottom right Corner. Click on it and choose the Option ''Zorin Desktop on Xorg'' and then log in.
I'm auto login to do this is there another way. System say's it's Wayland.
I switched and did what you said still no joy blueman just shows a list of of numbered devices but also saya's at the bottom of the window failed connection.
even if it's auto-login you can close your session and open a x11 session
Done that switched to x11 still no joy. All I get is what in the screen grab I think the numbered items are the mouse or one of them but it says failed to connect at the bottom of the blueman window, besides it takes four or five searches just to get these items to show up.Then it won't connect
if you scan in zorin settings nothing appear ? on your mouse do you have a pair button ?
Is the Mouse connected directly or is there a Dongle to connect it?
No direct connection through dongle. In the picture of the link that's all there is just a mouse. Microsoft mouse works great when I can get it to work. No Pair button tried pairing couldn't do it.
Pairing button That just turns it on and off how do you use it as the pairing button. Excuse my ignorance I've had this mouse for about two years and I never knew it had a pairing function. Just tried it now it's working could have saved my self a fiver on buying a wired mouse, if I'd waited but I hated that track pad on the laptop.

EDIT: I have now marked the (hardware) Solution, so as to avoid extra further investigations.
